Arya is the center coordinator for the BRiTE Center as well as a research coordinator for various projects. He currently manages the day-to-day operations and works as a practice facilitator for an implementation study that trains clinicians to utilize FOCUS, an evidence-based smartphone intervention for schizophrenia, in community mental health centers in New Hampshire and Missouri. He is also involved in a project that aims to deploy and evaluate an mHealth system in prayer camps in West Africa to improve quality of care and improve behavioral health outcomes. Arya is also the center coordinator for the BRiTE Center.

 

Arya graduated with a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College where he focused on global health and technology-based clinical interventions. As an undergraduate, he worked on the development of an NLP classifier to assess peer support fidelity and produced components for an mHealth smartphone app. He also has experience researching the feasibility, acceptability, and usability of digital peer support as well as the neural mechanisms underpinning psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.

 

Outside of work, Arya is a fan of photography, art, and design. He also loves scuba diving, kayaking, and being out on the ocean.
